1. Consent and identification
- Send only to recipients who requested or validly consented to the communication.
- Keep evidence of opt-in, its source, date, scope, and any withdrawal.
- Identify the sender and purpose accurately; do not impersonate another person or business.
- Honor opt-outs and suppression requests promptly.
- Use connected numbers only with the number owner's authorization.

2. Prohibited messaging
- Spam, purchased or scraped lists, unsolicited bulk messages, and list enumeration.
- Phishing, credential theft, malware, fraudulent offers, scams, or deceptive redirects.
- Harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, or content that facilitates unlawful activity.
- Messages that violate WhatsApp or Meta rules, telecommunications law, privacy law, sanctions, or export controls.
- Collection or transmission of passwords, payment-card data, health data, or government identifiers unless expressly supported and lawfully protected.

3. Platform abuse
- Do not bypass plan limits, rate limits, sender assignments, API roles, or attachment controls.
- Do not probe, scan, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with HookMessage or another workspace.
- Do not share API keys publicly or use one customer's credentials for another customer.
- Do not use OTP endpoints as a general-purpose messaging channel or manipulate templates to evade role restrictions.

4. Enforcement
HookMessage may use automated and manual abuse signals, including volume, failure rates, recipient complaints, blocked-number events, and authentication anomalies. It may throttle, quarantine, suspend, revoke credentials, preserve evidence, or report activity where reasonably necessary.
Report abuse to [email protected]. Affected customers may appeal an enforcement decision through the same address with relevant evidence.
