1. Contract and eligibility
HookMessage is a business messaging software service operated from Morocco. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you enter into these Terms with the operator identified on your order, invoice, or payment record.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the business or organization you represent. HookMessage is intended for business use, not personal or household use.
2. The Service
HookMessage provides workspace administration, API credentials, WhatsApp sender connections, OTP workflows, transactional messaging, delivery records, webhooks, and related integration tools. Available features and limits depend on the active plan shown in the dashboard and public plan catalog.
HookMessage is an independent service and is not endorsed by or affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. Third-party platform availability and policies may affect delivery.
3. Accounts and credentials
- Provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it current.
- Protect passwords, API keys, sender sessions, recovery methods, and team access.
- Use a separate API key for each integration and revoke credentials that may be exposed.
- Notify [email protected] promptly about suspected unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your workspace unless caused by HookMessage's breach of its own obligations.
4. Messaging responsibilities
You must own or be authorized to use every connected sender and must have a lawful, documented basis to contact each recipient. You are responsible for message content, recipient lists, templates, consent records, opt-outs, and compliance with WhatsApp, Meta, telecommunications, marketing, consumer-protection, and privacy rules.
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. HookMessage may throttle, block, investigate, or suspend activity that creates abuse, security, deliverability, or legal risk.
5. Plans, trials, and usage
Free Sandbox is limited testing access. Eligible paid plans may include a seven-day trial when displayed at checkout. Plan limits, included credits, attachment limits, and any metered overage rate are those shown immediately before purchase and in the workspace billing page.
Usage measurements produced by HookMessage's billing ledger are authoritative unless you demonstrate a material error. Attempts to bypass quotas, rate limits, sender restrictions, or billing controls are prohibited.
6. Billing and cancellation
Stripe processes card payments. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. You may cancel through the billing controls; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless law or the checkout terms require otherwise.
Fees are non-refundable once a paid period begins except where required by law, caused by a verified duplicate charge, or expressly agreed in writing. Taxes and bank or currency-conversion charges may apply.
7. Customer data and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your customer data, message content, templates, and branding. You grant HookMessage the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, troubleshoot, and delete that material as required to provide the Service.
HookMessage retains ownership of the Service, software, documentation, designs, and trademarks. No rights are granted except the limited, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms.
8. Availability and third parties
The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis unless a written order includes an SLA. Maintenance, internet failures, WhatsApp restrictions, cloud-provider incidents, or customer configuration may interrupt service.
HookMessage does not guarantee that every message will be accepted or delivered, or that a third-party platform will preserve a sender session.
9. Suspension and termination
HookMessage may suspend access when necessary to prevent abuse, protect recipients or infrastructure, comply with law, address non-payment, or investigate a material breach. Where reasonably possible, notice and a path to remedy will be provided.
On termination, you remain responsible for accrued fees. Data is returned or deleted according to the Privacy Policy, DPA, configured retention controls, and legal preservation duties.
10. Warranties, liability, and disputes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Neither party is liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
HookMessage's aggregate liability for claims related to the Service is limited to fees paid for the affected Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where such a limitation is prohibited by law or the loss results from fraud or willful misconduct.
These Terms are governed by Moroccan law. The parties will first attempt good-faith resolution through [email protected] before bringing proceedings before the competent Moroccan courts, unless mandatory law provides another forum.
11. Changes and contact
Material changes will be dated and communicated through the Service or account email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted; material contractual changes may require renewed acceptance.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
